Rescue Emergency Care (REC) First Aid

The HSE approved REC is a hands-on first aid course that uses scenarios to encourage experiential learning. The course is offered at various levels, from a basic 1-day course to Advanced first aid, aiming to meet all your first aid needs.

The Organisation

  • REC was created by specialist doctors in remote health care to introduce innovative informative and practical first aid training
  • REC offers a variety of first aid training programmes under the REC Scheme.
  • REC was designed by medical support for all working environments including water and mountain situations. Many first aid courses do not take into account the particular problems of the remote outdoor environment. REC courses do.

  • Courses are conducted according to HSE regulations 1981, 1990 and 1997 for Industry European Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
