Reach new heights
with BAC

Find your Giant Adventure in the heart of Belfast and beyond.

At BAC

Visit BAC’s Adventure Learning Park and scale the routes on our 10 metre wooden tower, clamber up the Vertical Challenge or brave the fan descender. Learn how to conquer your fears and develop the skills to climb like a Ninja! Closer to the ground, practice moving skilfully and efficiently, as you traverse the bouldering wall.

In Nature

BAC can take groups climbing in the Mourne Mountains, and other suitable natural rock faces across Northern Ireland. We are passionate about ensuring everyone has access to Northern Ireland’s Giant Ring of Adventure.

Why Book Climbing?

Climbing is a fantastic exercise to flex your analytical and physical skills to learn new techniques and navigate the routes like a ninja. It’s a great way to test your boundaries and enjoy that natural sense of adrenaline and achievement from working with your team on the ground to reach new heights.

Personal Development
Throughout each climbing session, BAC ensures that everyone has an opportunity to develop and strengthen their communication and interpersonal skills with the rest of their group. -Whilst climbing can challenge comfort levels, it allows for a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when you reach the top. If you find a passion for climbing, we can even help you work towards a nationally recognised award.

The facilities at BAC are wheelchair accessible and all equipment is provided at BAC to ensure that people with a disability enjoy the same equality of access to the outdoors as their peers.

Safety

We have been delivering climbing sessions at BAC on our wooden climbing wall as well as at various locations in nature across Northern Ireland for the past 30 years. All of our team are SPA or Climbing Wall Leader accredited and have received extensive internal training to ensure optimal safety. Our equipment undergoes stringent checks and upgrades and our team work to the strictest of operating procedures.

Age and Weight

The minimum age is 8 years old and the maximum weight is approximately 18 stone (including the weight of wheelchair if applicable), however certain factors may affect the maximum weight, and we would advise that if you are close to this weight that you call us for a friendly chat, and we will be able to discuss your options.

Photos

It is no problem to take photos at BAC, so long as everyone in your group is happy to be in a photo. We would ask that if you are posting to social media that you tag us. If you don’t have a camera, you can request that a member of our team take a photo and send it to you following the session. This will be at the instructor’s discretion.
