Ardaluin Regeneration Trust in partnership with Belfast Activity Centre (BAC) are recruiting for an Operational Manager.
Our Need
Operations Manager - Full time, permanent, based at Ardaluin House, Newcastle, Co. Down, but flexible to travel and work at BAC Barnett Demesne, Belfast and across NI when required.
Our Offer
Salary £30,000 - £40,000 pa depending upon relevant qualifications and experience. BAC also offers a generous employer supported pension scheme and annual leave entitlement alongside health and continuing professional development support and benefits.
The Challenge
To provide operational leadership supporting the development and growth of Ardaluin House during its merger with Belfast Activity Centre, delivering safe and exciting outdoor adventure learning opportunities and experiences through residential, camping and daytime programmes and activities for children, young people and young adults.
The post holder will be working as part of a dynamic Senior Leadership Team (SLT), under the direction of the BAC Chief Executive Officer (CEO), they will be responsible for:
- Recruiting, training and developing a team of staff, casual staff and volunteers
- Developing and managing a budget for the facility
- Designing, developing and leading on a range of activities and programmes to be run on the site and within the local area.
- Engaging with the local community and organisations and managing relations with all users of the facility.
