BEARS

Building Emotional and Active Resilience in Schools

For

Primary Schools, KS2

Focus

Personal Development and Resilience.

The BEARS programme is designed to help Build Emotional and Active Resilience in School children.

Delivered through six sessions of adventure learning to support the personal and social development for Key Stage 2 pupils.

Each session encourages personal development and mutual understanding during what can be a key transitional stage for children.

Through each challenge children will build confidence and tackle any fears about upcoming or future changes within their schooling or personal lives.

Key skills are developed through participating in a range of activities such as caving, climbing, paddling and low ropes courses, woven together though an intriguing adventure narrative.
