Since 1989, BAC has been creating amazing outdoor adventures that are challenging, stimulating and motivating for all ages and abilities.   

 

We work with a wide and diverse range of

Schools, Youth and Community groups, Businesses and Individuals.  

Our aim is to help everyone identify and realise their full potential. 

Visit our Adventure Learning Park and Residential Centre; 

or explore the Rivers,  Mountains and Trails, of our stunning countryside.

Voluntary and Community

 

Longer term, tailored activities for groups working with socially and economically disadvantaged communities. Programmes 

supporting equality of access and participation for people with disabilities are also

offered.

Fundraising

 

Exciting opportunities for charities and local good causes to raise funds through our Abseils  and events.

Schools

 

Programmes designed to support personal and

social development for pupils, within core curriculum subjects. Suitable for building cross community links between schools through shared education.

Schemes for busy parents and carers who want their children to be active and stimulated during school breaks.

Qualifications

Opportunities to gain qualifications in outdoor activities including; First Aid, Environmental 

Awareness, ASDAN and

OCN educational

attainments.

The Institute for Outdoor Learning is the professional body for organisations and individuals who use the outdoors to make a difference for others. We are driven by a vision of outdoor learning as a highly valued form of development, education and employment in UK society.

The Adventuremark logo .

Adventuremark is a non-statutory safety accreditation scheme devised by the Adventure Activity Industry Advisory Committee for providers of adventurous activities that are outside the scope of the Adventure Activity Licensing regulations.   AAIAC has appointed Adventure Activity Associates Ltd. to operate Adventuremark on its behalf. 

Logo for the Association of Heads of Outdoor Education Centres.

Gold Standard is AHOEC’s quality scheme, developed to go beyond the standards set by the LOtC Quality Badge, AAIAC AdventureMark and AALA. Encompassing not just safety but also the quality of service and learning, the Gold Standard logo provides assurances to participants and customers.
